Eliceo Matapi was born and raised in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest in Colombia but received his education in San Antonio, Texas. After returning to Colombia, he founded Colombia Remote Adventures in 2014, which quickly became the best Amazon tour company in Leticia. However, after years of giving back to the community in countless ways, Eliceo has now settled in San Antonio and is eager to share his passion for the culinary heritage of the region and commitment to excellent customer service with locals and visitors alike.
